La Facultad de Medicina junto a la Dirección General de Relaciones Internacionales de la Universidad Andrés Bello invita a sus investigadores del Instituto de Ciencias Biomédicas y de la Facultad de Ciencias de la Vida, estudiantes de pregrado y postgrado, académicos e investigadores de las ciencias de la salud a los seminarios Current topics in medical education and research advances in prevalent health problems, donde junto a la Universidad de Drexel constituye una oportunidad para que se vinculen con investigadores internacionales. En este sentido, puedan actualizar conocimientos en relación con sus líneas de investigación y generar vínculos colaborativos entre los investigadores, académicos y estudiantes de ambas casas de estudio.
Exponen:
Zachary Klase, PhD. Associate professor in the Department of Pharmacology & Physiology at Drexel University College of Medicine. He comes to Drexel from the University of the Sciences, where he was associate professor and interim assistant chair of the Department of Biological Sciences.
Ramesh Raghupathi, PhD. Professor in the Department of Neurobiology & Anatomy at Drexel University College of Medicine. He did postdoctoral training at the University of Connecticut Health Science Center and the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. Before coming to the College of Medicine in 2003, he served on the faculty in the Department of Neurosurgery at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine.
Daniel Schidlow, MD. Professor of Pediatrics Medicine and Pharmacology & Physiology. Dean Emeritus. Vice president of medical affairs at Drexel University College of Medicine. Interim dean and senior vice president of health affairs at the College since November. He stepped down as dean in August 2019. Director of Bioethics, Medical Humanities and Professional Formation at the West Reading Campus. Has received numerous awards for his contributions to medicine and education, including the 2010 Lindback Award for Distinguished Teaching.
Mauricio J. Reginato, Ph.D. Bachelor of Science, Biology Penn State University, University Park. Ph.D., Pharmacology University of Pennsylvania Philadelphia. Postdoctoral Fellow Department of Cell Biology Harvard Medical School, Boston.
